2.1 Google Calendar Data
When you use Daychat, we access and store locally on your device:
- Calendar events and details from the past and upcoming 120 days
- Basic Google account information required for authentication
2.2 Chat Interactions
Your chat interactions with the App are processed using OpenAI's API to provide responses to your queries.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for the following purposes:
- To provide the core functionality of the App - allowing you to interact with your calendar data
- To process your queries using OpenAI's API and generate relevant responses
- To improve and optimize the App's performance and user experience
We do not use data obtained through Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized AI and/or ML models.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your calendar data is stored locally on your device. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:
- We do not store your calendar data on our servers
- All communication with Google's and OpenAI's APIs is encrypted
- We only retain the minimum amount of data necessary for the App to function
5. Data Sharing and Usage
We are committed to protecting your data and maintaining transparency about how it is used:
- We do not use data obtained through Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized AI and/or ML models
- We process the contents of your calendar—including events and related details—solely on your behalf to provide the Service. Daychat does not use this data for marketing or advertising purposes.
- The use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Google Calendar API for accessing your calendar data
- OpenAI API for processing your chat requests
These services have their own privacy policies and terms of service.

You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Delete your account and associated data
- Withdraw your consent for data processing
- Request information about how your data is processed
